"Marine Geological Frontier" is an academic journal of marine geosciences, sponsored by the Qingdao Institute of Marine Geology under the auspices of China Geological Survey, and published by the Science Press. It aims to follow up the progress of marine geology in China, and timely report the recent achievements (new discoveries, new ideas, new technologies and new methods) of geological surveys, and promote academic exchanges in the field of marine geology.
The Journal mainly publishes research achievements in the field of marine sedimentology, marine hydrocarbon resources, marine solid mineral resources, marine geophysics, marine geochemistry, environmental geology and marine geohazards, as well as information of important academic activities and exchanges and communication in marine geology.
The peer-review process for submitted manuscripts generally takes six months. Accepted manuscripts may apply for Online publication on CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure), and the schedule date for print publication determined by the order of acceptance.
