PROGRESS AND PROSPECT OF SEISMIC SURVEY IN THE SOUTH YELLOW SEA IN THE NEW CENTURY

Since the beginning of the new century,aiming at the main problems of seismic exploration of marine residual basin in the South Yellow Sea, following work has been carried out, which includes the theoretical simulation of seismic reflection characteristics, research and practice of seismic acquisition and processing techniques. Progress has been achieved in seismic exploration techniques and geological data acquisition. In this paper, it is introduced the main progress of the seismic exploration of marine residual basin in the South Yellow Sea,and the prospet of future development is discussed.
