MANAGEMENT MODEL AND ANALYSIS OBJECTIVES FOR GAS HYDRATE SAMPLES FROM SOUTH CHINA SEA

Hydrate samples are critical data for geological exploration and development of hydrate resources. The management of hydrate samples data and the identification of analysis objectives are key issues in the research of hydrates. In this paper, we studied various sample management options, introduced the idea of workflow, and established a management model for hydrate samples. As the result, a hydrate samples management system was established based on WEBGIS. It has been successfully applied in Guangzhou Marine Geological Survey and could be used as a reference for similar projects in China.
