Abstract
Grain size analysis and geochemical studies have been carried out for the core KD4 taken from the modern Yellow River mouth. The core can be subdivided into 10 layers according to chemical elements. 4 R-mode cluster and 5 R-mode factor are performed to reveal the change in major and trace elements. 4 large cold-warm cycles of climate changes are found in Late Pleistocene, responding to regional environmental and global climatic changes.
