    THE APPLICATION OF HIGH-DENSITY ANISOTROPIC VELOCITY ANALYSIS IN QIONG DONG NAN BASIN

    • Velocity analysis is an important part of the seismic data processing. Traditional velocity analysis technology based on the assumption of isotropy has been widely used. But there are various anisotropic geological bodies underground. The detecting depth of modern marine seismic technology is increasing with cable length. Therefore, the problem of stratigraphic anisotropy has become increasingly prominent. By using the technology of high-density and anisotropic velocity analysis, we can scan the velocity and anisotropy parameters to improve the accuracy of the density and velocity analysis. It can also solve the problem of unleveled far offsets and improve the quality of seismic imaging.
