    KEY TECHNOLOGY AND ITS APPLICATION TO EVALUATION OF CARRYING CAPACITY OF GEO- RESOURCES AND GEO-ENVIRONMENT IN QINGDAO

    • Integrated evaluation of carrying capacity of geo-resources and geo-environment is required as one of the major objectives of urban geological survey. In this project, in order to carry out the evaluation as such, scientific evaluation factors are selected reasonably, and the evaluation index system well established based on the distribution patterns of geo-resources and geo-environments in the city of Qingdao. The evaluation results suggest that even the geo-resources in Qingdao are relatively poor, the overall carrying capacity of geological resources and environment of the city is quite strong. The areas with weak carrying capacity of geo- resources and geo-environment include Jiaozhou Bay, the southwest of Huangdao District, and the eastern Laoshan Mountain and their surrounding areas. According to the current status of production and living spaces, agricultural spaces and ecological environmental spaces, this paper suggests that optimal planning and allocation of geo-resources and geo-environment be made so as to provide a scientific basis for rational use of geo-resources and for safety of geo-environment in Qingdao. In addition, the evaluation results may also provide some basic information for regional land planning.
