    Evaluation ofthe Special Reprocessing of3D Seismic Data andIts Applicationto Reservoir Prediction in Southwest Ordos Basin: Take DF Well Area as an Example

    • With the progress of oilfield exploration and development as well as the progress in seismic processing and interpretation technology, special processing of the old 3D seismic data becomes more important to tap data potential. However, to quantitatively or qualitatively evaluate the special processed data in the loess plateau remains a difficult problem. Through precise correlation of interpreted data and reservoir prediction, based on the analyses of the process and results, we established a relatively reliable technical flowchart for the data special processing and evaluation. Templates are established for subsequent similar data processing and evaluation. Results suggest that it is critical important to carry out the special reprocessing and correlation of the old and new 3D seismic data for reservoir prediction, in particular for the region as the loess plateau.
