    3D SEISMIC PRESTACK RESERVOIR PREDICTION IN H OILFIELD OF SOUTH ERDOS

    • The reservoir in southern Erdos is a real dense one with low porosity and permeability. The method of 3D seismic reservoir prediction is adopted in oil exploration and development in the area of H oil field. Practice has proved that it is difficult in the H oilfield to distinguish mud and sand with the acoustic impedance alone, and the conventional poststack data in the impedance inversion is not effective for fine reservoir description. At the same time, in the blocks of late development stage, it is hard to find oil reservoirs even sand bodies are available. Reservoir prediction of prestack data may provide more elastic parameters and is easy to find optimal parameters to recognize sand or mud, in addition to identification of fluid. As an effective technical support, we recommend prestack reservoir prediction for further exploration and development in the region.
