THE RESERVOIR PREDICTION OF TIGHT GAS SANDSTONE BY USING PETROPHYSICAL ANALYSIS AND PRE-STACK INVERSION TECHNOLOGY

    • Owing to the complicated reservoir distribution and the deeper burial, lower porosity and permeability of the Huagang Formation in the A Block of the Xihu Sag, the impedances of sand and shale are always overlapped on the histogram. Thus the normal amplitude attribute and acoustic impedance inversion can not effectively predict the distribution of favorable reservoir in this area. Based on petrophysical analysis and pre-stack inversion technology, an integrated method for prediction of lithology, physical property and fluid property are created, which can effectively predict the channel sand body of the Huagang Formation and further identify oil and gas. Good results have been acquired in the actual application.
