    PROGRESS OF INTEGRATED EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGY FOR NATURAL GAS HYDRATE

    • Natural gas hydrate is a potential new energy source of the 21st century. The Chinese Government has increased R&D investment in the exploration technology for natural gas hydrate to meet the requirement of the new round of geological survey. By tracking the international cutting-edge technology in gas hydrate investigation in combination with the practical demand of domestic exploration,we have recently carried out the correspondent research and development work in such fields as the acoustic deep-tow system,deep-sea electromagnetic exploration system with controlled source,field testing and in-situ monitoring technology. In this paper, we presented the research and development progress of the above-mentioned technology and equipment, in addition to some suggestions.
