    DATA ORGANIZATION FOR MARINE GEOLOGICAL SURVEY DATABASE

      Abstract
    • The database built upon the GIS platform can manage data in the forms of features or tables. However, the features and tables provided by the GIS platform are far from sufficient to the management of diverse data from marine geological survey. Files of various formats have to be used to store and manage data, and all kinds of data should be integrated by keywords to become a integral database system. To meet the requirement of data management, data application and data visual display, possible ways are discussed in this paper for organization and management of various data from marine geological survey.
