GEO-ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY EVALUATION SYSTEM FOR COASTAL ZONE MANAGEMENT

The geo-environmental quality evaluation system is a hot issue nowadays in coastal development and management. According to the geological characteristics of the coastal zone in China, we discussed the factors critical to geo-environmental quality evaluation in this paper. Upon the basis of the classification of land and the need in land use, a set of geological environment quality assessment indexes are proposed for the southern coast of the Laizhou Bay.
