波拿巴盆地东北部的石油地质条件

    PETROLEUM GEOLOGY IN THE NORTHEASTERN PART OF BONAPARTE BASIN

    • 摘要: 波拿巴盆地东北部油气资源丰富,是重要的油气战略远景区,但其石油地质条件尚未明确,针对主要目的层侏罗系-下白垩统,研究了烃源岩有机碳分布和成熟度,储层的物性特征和盖层分布特征。认为有利烃源岩层为Echuca Shoals组、Elang组、上Plover组以及Cleia组泥岩,有利储层为上Plover组和Elang组砂岩。总结得出2套储盖组合,上部储层为以Elang组为主、上Plover组次之的砂岩,直接盖层为Cleia组的泥岩,区域盖层为白垩系Bathurst Island群的一套巨厚的泥页岩。下部储层为Plover组的碎屑砂岩,直接盖层为上Plover组中段泥岩,缺乏区域盖层。从封盖条件看,上储盖组合优于下储盖组合。

       

      Abstract: The Jurassic and Late Cretaceous are the major exploration targets for oil and gas in the northeastern part of Bonaparte Basin. The distribution and maturity of source rocks, TOC, reservoir properties and the distribution of cap rocks are studied in this paper. It is proved that the mudstones in the Echuca Shoals FM, Elang FM, Upper Plover FM and Cleia FM are favorable source rocks, and the sandstone in the Upper Plover FM and Elang FM are favorable reservoirs. Two reservoir-seal combinations have been identified so far. For the upper one, reservoirs occur mainly in the Elang FM and Plover FM, with the Cleia mudstone as the direct seal and the Cretaceous thick shale of the Bathurst Island Group as the regional seal. For the lower one, the Plover sandstone is the favorable reservoir with the Upper Plover mudstone as the direct seal. The regional seal is missing, so the upper combination is a better exploration target.
