Abstract:
Seismic inversion is one of the three core techniques in reservoir prediction. Fully using the advantages of the horizontal resolution of seismic data and the vertical resolution of logging data, it can make reasonable prediction of the spatial distribution pattern of reservoirs. Based on the analysis of stratigraphic characteristics of Es
3 at the Xinglongtai of Liaohe and the challenges been faced with in reservoirs description, we made reservoir prediction through the quality research and forward analysis of seismic data, the standardization of logging curves, wavelet extraction, fine synthetic seismogram calibration and other pre-processing work, optimization of inversion parameters and the application of constrained sparse spike inversion. The reservoir spatial distribution patterns are finely described. The prediction resulted in the selection of the two prospective traps and two exploration wells. The fine description of reservoirs lays a solid geological foundation for well placement and reserve reporting.
