Abstract:
During a long period, marine seismic exploration equipment heavily relied on imports, and is strictly restricted by the oversea technical clauses in terms of operating depth, trace spacing, low cutoff frequency and so on, which severely affects the technical progress of offshore oil and gas exploration in China. Through two decades of research and independent development, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) overcomes multiple key core technical bottlenecks, e.g., solid cable structure, low cutoff frequency hydrophone and integrated navigation algorithms, and develop the first towed streamer seismic exploration equipment set, namely“Hai-Jing” system. In recent years, “Hai-Jing” system has been continuously performing seismic operations in a large area, covering four major domestic seas and some oversea countries such as Indonesia. “Hai-Jing” system has successfully overcome the technical restriction clauses of western countries, while the overall system performance has reached an internationally advanced level. Also,“Hai-Jing” system basically realizing the autonomy of key technologies and core equipment, and effectively ensuring the national energy security and economic development.
