巴布亚盆地成烃演化及烃源岩控藏作用

    Diagenetic evolution and source rock control of hydrocarbon in the Papuan Basin

    • 摘要: 巴布亚盆地中新生界烃源岩的时空展布、有机质类型和成熟演化的不同造成油气空间分布存在明显差异,结果表明:①巴布亚盆地西北部主要发育中生界烃源岩,侏罗系烃源岩于巴布亚褶皱带东段和西段进入高成熟演化阶段,在巴布亚褶皱带中段和弗莱台地进入生油高峰阶段,下白垩统烃源岩于巴布亚褶皱带和弗莱台地北缘进入生油高峰阶段;②盆地东南部主要发育新生界烃源岩,主力生烃灶主要分布在奥雷凹陷的滨—浅海区域,中新统烃源岩具有成熟时间晚、成熟度高的特点,上新统烃源岩整体未达到成熟阶段;③巴布亚褶皱带受烃源岩成熟演化控制较为明显,其中段和西段以侏罗系烃源岩供烃为主,东段以白垩系烃源岩供烃为主,东西段由于下覆高成熟演化阶段烃源岩持续供烃,均发育成熟气藏和凝析气藏,中段侏罗系烃源岩正处于生油高峰,且以Ⅱ型干酪根为主,主要发育正常油藏;④弗莱台地与巴布亚湾的油气分布受烃源岩有机质类型和成熟演化共同控制,弗莱台地油气来源为中生界烃源岩混合供烃,其北缘油气类型与巴布亚褶皱带中西段相似,其南部斜坡带油气则更多的由白垩系烃源岩供给,巴布亚湾地区由于供烃层位不同,烃源岩有机质类型和成熟演化存在差异,同时发育新生界成熟气藏和生物气藏,成熟油气的主要来源是中新统烃源岩,生物气的主要来源是上新统烃源岩。

       

      Abstract: The differences in the distribution range, organic matter types, and thermal evolution of the Mesozoic and Cenozoic source rocks in the Papuan Basin result in differences in their oil and gas distribution. The results show that: ① Mesozoic source rocks were mainly developed in the northwest of the Papuan Basin. The Jurassic source rocks entered the high maturity stage in the eastern and western parts of the Papuan Fold Belt and the peak oil generation stage in the middle section of the Papuan fold belt and the Frye Platform, while the lower Cretaceous source rocks on the northern edge of the Papuan Fold Belt and Frye Platform entered the peak oil generation stage; ② The southeastern part of the basin was mainly developed with the Cenozoic source rocks, and the main hydrocarbon generation stoves are distributed mainly in the coastal shallow sea area of the Aure Depression. The Middle Miocene source rocks have the characteristics of late maturity and high maturity, while the Upper Miocene source rocks as a whole have not reached the mature stage; ③ The Papuan Fold Belt is controlled quite clearly by the maturation and evolution of source rocks. The middle and western sections were mainly supplied by Jurassic source rocks, while the eastern section was supplied mainly by the Cretaceous source rocks. The eastern and western sections were continuously supplied by overlying high maturity source rocks, and both mature gas reservoirs and condensate gas reservoirs were developed. The Jurassic source rocks in the middle section were at the peak of oil generation, mainly consisting of type Ⅱ kerogen and developing mainly normal oil reservoirs; ④ The distribution of oil and gas in the Frye Platform and Papuan Bay was jointly controlled by the organic matter type and maturation evolution of the source rocks. The oil and gas source of the Frye Platform is a mixture of the Mesozoic source rocks, and the oil and gas type in its northern edge is similar to that in the central and western sections of the Papuan Fold Belt. The southern slope zone is also controlled by the organic matter type and maturation evolution of the source rocks. Oil and gas are mainly supplied by the Cretaceous source rocks; and in the Papuan Bay region, due to different hydrocarbon supply layers, there are differences in the types and maturation evolution of organic matter in source rocks, in which mature gas reservoirs and biogenic gas reservoirs in the Cenozoic. The main source of mature oil and gas is Middle Miocene source rocks, while the main source of biogenic gas are the Upper Miocene source rocks.
