    Identification of underground freshwater bodies in coastal areas based on high-density resistivity

    • 摘要: 滨海地区地下淡水体的识别研究,可有效指导地区寻找淡水资源。阐述了高密度电法在滨海地区识别淡水体的理论依据,该方法在研究区的实例分析表明,高密度电阻率法能够很好地识别出咸淡水界面,进而划分出淡水层的分布。研究结果与水文地质调查成果基本吻合,说明该方法在滨海地区具有较好的可行性和有效性。此外,总结了该地区的淡水体电性特征和垂向分布情况,可为开展区域水文地质调查研究提供可靠的基础资料。

       

      Abstract: The identification of underground freshwater bodies can assist us effectively to find freshwater resources in coastal areas. In this article, we present the theoretical basis of high-density resistivity method for identifying freshwater bodies in coastal areas. The result shows that the method could distinguish the freshwater-saltwater interface, with which freshwater layer can be clearly shown on the profile of high-density resistivity inversion, from which freshwater distribution can be effectively delineated. In addition, the results agree well with the hydrogeological survey results, indicating that this method is feasible and effective in coastal areas. At last, the electrical characteristics and vertical distribution of freshwater bodies were summarized. This study provided reliable basic data for regional hydrogeological survey and exploration.
