基于断层平面模型的小尺度断层刻画技术:以渤海A油田为例

    Small scale fault identification approach based on fault plane model: taking Bohai Oilfield A as example

    • 摘要: A油田位于渤海海域东部,处于郯庐断层和张蓬断层的交汇处,断层非常发育,尤其是一些小尺度断层。常规的相干算法易受噪声影响,无法清晰刻画小尺度断层,亟需更高精度的断层刻画方法。采用基于断层平面模型的小尺度断层刻画方法,通过构建结构张量,提取矩阵的特征值和特征向量,构建断层属性。再通过相邻点的相关分析,判断断层的延伸距离。通过实际资料分析,该方法提高对小尺度断层的刻画能力,指导了A油田的构造精细解释。

       

      Abstract: The Oilfield A is located in the east of Bohai Sea, at the junction of the Tan-lu fault and the Zhangpeng fault where small scale faults are well developed. The conventional coherence algorithm is easily affected by noise and hard to be used in small scale faults description effectively. A more accurate fault description method is required. In this paper, a characterization method for small scale fault based on fault plane model is adopted. By constructing structural tensor, eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrix are extracted to construct fault attributes. Then through the correlation of adjacent points, the extension distance of the fault is defined. Analysis of actual data suggests that the ability to depict small scale faults and the interpretation of small structures are much improved using this method in the Oilfield A.
