Abstract:
Complex lithology and reservoir characteristics result in strong heterogeneity of the Asmari Group in Iraq. Based on the research of reservoir, barriers and interlayers, micro-fracture, formation pressure and water cut rising, the reservoir connectivity of F Oilfield is studied in this paper. The results show that the dolomite with poor physical property is the main barriers and interlayers of the Asmari Group. The barriers and interlayers have a certain permeability, and with the development of micro-fracture, connectivity is improved. Formation pressure and water cut rising also indicate the availability of connectivity vertically and horizontally in the reservoir. Because of heterogeneity, connectivity varies from area to area.
