    烟台北部近岸海域表层沉积物粒度分布及沉积动力环境特征

    GRAIN SIZE DISTRIBUTION PATTERN OF SURFACE SEDIMENTS IN THE NORTHERN YANTAI COASTAL WATERS AND ITS BEARING ON HYDRODYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT

    • 摘要: 基于烟台北部近岸海域56个表层沉积物样品的粒度资料,分析了研究区沉积物粒度分布特征。采用Pejrup三角图对研究区沉积动力环境进行了分区,利用Gao-Collins粒径趋势分析方法分析了沉积物的输运趋势,在此基础上探讨了研究区的沉积动力环境特征。研究结果表明,研究区粒度呈现中间粗、东西部海域细的分布格局; 沉积动力环境可划分为AⅢ、BⅢ、BⅣ、CⅢ、CⅣ、DⅢ、DⅣ 7个区,总体表现为“中间强、两侧弱,近岸强、远岸弱”的分布格局; 研究区东西部开阔海域各存在1个沉积物汇聚中心,物质来源多样; 研究区表层沉积物运移和分布与水动力条件基本吻合,且受沉积物来源的影响。潮流、沿岸流以及沉积物来源共同控制其沉积动力环境。

       

      Abstract: Based on the 56 surface sediment samples collected from the northern Yantai coastal waters, the grain size distribution pattern of the sediments was analyzed. The sedimentary dynamic environment of the study area was defined by the Pejrup triangle diagram, and the transport trend of the sediments revealed by the Gao-Collins grain size trend analysis method. On this basis, the characteristics of the sedimentary dynamic environment of the study area were discussed. Results show that the grain size distribution of the study area is characterized by a pattern with coarse sediments in the center surrounded by fine deposits in the east and west; and thus the study area can be divided into seven sedimentary dynamic environments areas: AⅢ, BⅢ, BⅣ, CⅢ, CⅣ, DⅢ and DⅣ. Dynamically, strong environment occurs in the center, weak environments on both sides, or strong near shore and weak far shore; Two depositional centers are discovered in the open sea areas of the eastern and western parts of the study area, and the sediment sources are rather diverse; The movement and distribution of surface sediments in the area are basically dependent upon hydrodynamic conditions, influenced by sediment sources. And the sedimentary dynamic environment is jointly determined by tidal currents, coastal currents and sediment sources.
