    CURRENT STATUS OF MARINE GEOLOGY DATABASE CONSTRUCTION AND EXPERIENCES

    • 摘要: 海洋地质数据库是中国地质调查局基础数据库的重要组成部分,是数字国土工程总体部署下的专业数据库建设项目,其总体目标是完成我国已有区域海洋地质调查成果的数字化,建立我国管辖海域(东海、南海、渤海、黄海)海洋基础地质数据库。简单介绍了海洋地质数据库建设背景、总体思路和建设原则,重点从项目规划、建设重点、发展方向等几方面介绍了海洋地质数据库建设现状,并从实际工作出发,分享了数据库项目建设经验,旨在为其他数据库建设项目提供参考。

       

      Abstract: As a part of the Fundamental Database for Geological Survey in China, the Marine Geology Database is one of the specific components of the national program on land digitization. The objective of the database is to digitize the results of regional marine geology survey so as to establish a fundamental marine database for the sea areas under Chinese jurisdiction, which include the East China Sea, South China Sea, Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea. In this article, we briefed the background, general principles and guidelines and its current status of the database focusing on planning, construction and suggestions for future development. Our experiences accumulated in the construction of the database are also presented. It may provide a useful reference to other projects on database development.
