    北海南部盆地大型气田形成条件

    FORMING CONDITION OF LARGE GAS FIELD IN SOUTHERN NORTH SEA BASIN

    • 摘要: 通过收集相关资料,结合气源岩、生储盖组合及圈闭特征方面的研究,对北海南部盆地大型气田的形成条件进行了分析,总结了其形成的基本规律后得出:北海南部盆地气源岩为上石炭统维斯特伐利亚阶煤系地层(C22);主力储层为赤底统砂岩,部分地区储层为下三叠统砂岩;区域盖层为上二叠统蒸发盐岩。北海南部大型气田多为反转断裂构造圈闭,其形成与分布的主要受控因素为石炭统气源岩分布及其成熟度、赤底统砂岩发育带的分布以及区域性蒸发盐岩盖层的有效封盖。

       

      Abstract: A comprehensive review of the data on gas source rock, source-reservoir-cap assemblage and trap characteristics, the formation condition of large gas field in Southern North Sea Basin was made in this paper in order to understand the basic mechanisms of oil accumulation. In this area, the Westphalia coal measures of the Late Carboniferous is the major gas source rock, with the Rotliegende sandstone as the main reservoir. The Lower Triassic sandstone is also a reservoir in some areas. The Upper Permian evaporite deposits provide a unique regional cap. Most large gas fields are preserved fractured structural traps. The formation of gas field depends upon the combination of the availability of Carboniferous gas source rock, distribution of Rotliegende sandstone and the effective sealing by regional evaporite cap rock.
