    CURRENT STATUS AND FUTURE TREND OF GEOLOGICAL MAP COMPILATION

    • 摘要: 地质编图是地质调查成果最重要的表达方式之一,是现代各项工程建设和经济社会发展不可缺少的地质资料。地质编图成果的水平和质量如何,能否有效地适应经济社会发展的需要,越来越受到世界各国的重视。近年来,地质制图、地学遥感、GIS、地图制印等方面新技术不断发展,为地质编图的研究发展提供了重要的技术保障和支持。广泛应用性、科普性、制作表现形式多样性、多学科系列图件、洲际图件或全球图件成为国际地质编图发展的新动向。介绍了地理底图设计、图面表达、网格GIS平台、InSAR技术、地质图数据库建设与管理等地质编图技术的发展,总结了国内外地质编图研究现状及存在的问题,提出了地质编图未来的发展方面。

       

      Abstract: Geological map, as an efficient tool to present and summarize geological survey results, is a kind of geological information indispensable for economic and social development, and has attracted great attention from the governments and the public all over the world. The rapid development of related technology in the recent years, such as mapping techniques, remote sensing, GIS and map making and printing technology, has provided great technical support for map compilation. The new trend of map compilation in the world focuses more and more on multi-purpose application, popularity, diversity of mapping methods, multidisciplinary cooperation and intercontinental coverage. In this paper, we introduced some of the key progress in geological map compilation, such as the design of geographic base map, presentation of geological elements, grid GIS platform, InSAR, and the construction and management of geological map database. Problems and challenges concerning geological map compilation were also discussed.
