    USING SINGLE-CHANNEL SEISMICS FOR ACTIVE FAULTS INVESTIGATION IN YELLOW SEA AND BOHAI SEA

    • 摘要: 利用大量新采集的单道地震剖面对黄、渤海研究区的活动断裂进行了初步研究。结果表明,研究区的活动断裂在活动时限上具有继承性,即大部分活动断裂是老断裂新构造期的再活动;在几何特征上具有集束性,即大部分活动断裂丛集成一个大的断裂带;在活动频率上具有期次性,即大部分活动断裂的活动与区域构造运动相对应;在平面分布上,渤海海域的活动断裂明显多于黄海,这可能与郯庐断裂及其派生断裂新构造期的活动有关。

       

      Abstract: A great amount of newly-collected single-channel seismic profiles have been acquired recently from the Yellow and Bohai Seas. Preliminary interpretation of the seismic data for active faults has been carried out by the authors. Results show that these active faults are inherited from old ones and reactivated in Cenozoic by neotectonics, and occur in cluster into large fault zones. The reactivation of the faults was usually consistent with regional tectonic movements. There are more active faults in the Bohai Sea due to the neotectonic movements related to the activity of the Tancheng-Lujiang fault .
