Abstract
Fractures are well developed in the Ordovician carbonate reservoir of the Chenghai buried hill, making the reservoir strongly heterogeneous. Based on the data of seismics, well drilling, well logging, and indoor analyses and testing, a thorough study of carbonate reservoir lithology and reservoir space has been carried out for revealing the controlling factors of reservoir development and distribution. Starting from the stacked seismic data, we predict the fractures and pores in plane and space using seismic attribute technique and seismic inversion technique with optimized seismic attributes as variance cube, amplitude enveloping and attenuation gradient. Combined with oil-gas reservoir forming controlling factors of the Chenghai buried hill, we finally determine the most favorable zones of the carbonate fracture reservoir.
