古地磁方法在古大陆再造中的应用

摘要: 古大陆再造是全球构造研究的重要内容之一,古大陆位置的恢复是古大陆再造研究中的重要环节。古地磁方法的突破为古大陆位置恢复提供了更可靠的依据,使古大陆位置恢复由定性研究转变为定量—半定量研究。从古地磁方法在古大陆位置恢复研究中的应用角度出发,介绍了古地磁方法的原理、古地磁样品采集、古纬度和古地磁极计算、古地磁数据可靠性判断等几个方面的内容。此外,还介绍了极移曲线对比和漂移量旋转量对比2种恢复古大陆位置的方法,探讨了这2种方法的适用情况。Abstract: The reconstruction of paleocontinental pattern is one of the hot topics in global tectonic research, and the restoration of ancient position of continents remain the key to the reconstruction. So far paleomagnetism is the most effective method to provide reliable evidence for quantitative and semi-quantitative paleocontinental restoration. This paper provides a review on the progress of paleomagnetic method in the restoration of ancient continental position,including principles, sample collection, methods for calculation of paleolatitude and paleomagnetic poles and quality evaluation of paleomagnetic data. Two methods for restoration of the ancient continental location APWP and drift rotation are introduced and discussed.
