Abstract:
In the process of 3D seismic data acquisition, footprints are common due to the influences of 3D observation systems themselves, the acquisition conditions and other unexpected factors, which may bring out banded amplitude anomalies in the marine seismic data. The existence of acquisition footprints affects the imaging quality of seismic data and the subsequent seismic inversion, attribute analysis and AVO study. Especially in the seismic survey for gas hydrate, accurate and reliable imaging of seismic inversion and seismic attribute analysis are very important to accurately identify the distribution of hydrate. In this paper, we carefully analyzed the phenomenon of seismic data acquisition footprint and adopted effective suppression technology to improve data quality so as to provide reliable seismic data for the subsequent work, such as seismic inversion, attribute analysis and AVO study for fine reservoir description, detailed description of geological structures and prediction of the distribution pattern of natural gas hydrate reservoir and favorable accumulation zones.
